Discover the largest remaining tract of tall grass prairie reserve, home to hundreds of endangered species of birds, mammals, insects, grasses and wildflowers. 

The Manitoba Tall-Grass Prairie Preserve near Tolstoi extends into the RM of Stuartburn a features the largest intact and contiguous tall-grass prairie in Canada. The area is home to diverse landscapes: wet and dry, marsh and fen, savannah and woodlands, riparian areas and rivers.
