The Municipality of Emerson-Franklin was incorporated on January 1, 2015 through the amalgamation of the RM of Franklin and the Town of Emerson. Our primary Municipal Office is located in Dominion City towards the east end of Waddell Avenue. Our Satellite Municipal Office is located at 104 Church Street in the former Town of Emerson.

The Emerson-Franklin Community Development Corporation was formed in the Fall of 2018 to coordinate actions that stimulate growth and employment in the Municipality of Emerson-Franklin. Our goal is to develop Emerson-Franklin as an attractive place to live, ensure a high quality of life, and maintain a healthy environment.
